"A wrong turn"

Films: Midnight (1982)

Alias: Abraham, Cynthia, Luke, Mama, Cyrus

Type: Natural

Location: Haunted home/Civilized area

Height/Weight: That of average humans.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: Once again, a bunch of murderous do-nothings have dedicated their entire lives to serving the Kingdom of Darkness. But really, who's to say that they're not just doing it for their own amusement?

History: Ever since they were kids, this tight-knit family of Pennsylvanian Satanists have had a penchant for kidnapping unlucky citizens and sacrificing them to their Dark Lord. Years later, their mother is gone, but they believe that by feeding her corpse the blood of their victims, they can resurrect her. Two of the psychos, Luke and Abraham, are particularly awful, having killed two police officers to masquerade as cops.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: Cyrus and Abraham are shot ironically by a man they just killed, Cynthia gets her throat slashed by a sickle, and Luke gets knocked down before being dowsed with gasoline and fire. Their reign of terror has officially ended.

Powers/Abilities: None

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 3.5-As usual, there is nothing scarier than a coordinated group of loonies out for your blood. It takes a special kind of vileness to dress up as the law just to get more victims for your stupid cult. At least they're all gone.

Trivia: -This film was directed and based on a novel by John A. Russo, who's best known for his work on the film, "Night of the Living Dead".

-Originally, the killers were going to get away with their killings, but the even the distributers thought that these wastes of space had it coming, so the ending was revised, albeit rather hurriedly.

Throwbacks to previous decades, in terms of advertising, is never a bad idea.

Backwoods incidents...we wish they were nightmares.

What's worse than the Bible Belt? Whatever this place is.

Whomever landed her in this trap is a bigger sadist than these guys...actually, hard comparison.
